Top News and Magazines Apps on Android in Ukraine: Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top news and magazines applications on the Android platform in Ukraine showcased diverse performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying patterns in downloads and active user engagement.

Повітряна тривога experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting at around 25.5K downloads in early July, the numbers dipped mid-quarter but recovered to reach approximately 30.1K by the end of September. The app's active users increased from 5.4M to over 6M during the quarter, indicating a strong user retention despite the zero revenue reported.

X saw a consistent rise in weekly revenue, peaking at about $4K in mid-September. Downloads remained steady, with a slight increase reaching 4.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline, moving from 776K to around 632K.

DeepStateMap maintained stable download rates, averaging around 3K weekly. Active users increased significantly from 136K to 150K by the end of September. Revenue remained non-existent, focusing the app's success on user engagement.

For УНебо - Повітряні тривоги, downloads peaked at 3.9K in early July, with a subsequent decrease to under 100 by the end of the quarter. Active users varied, peaking at about 29.8K in late August before declining to 16K.

Finally, Де Допомога – гроші, їжа, одяг had a peak in downloads at 3.4K in early September, while weekly active users data was not available.
